Solar O&M that keeps your plant generating for 25 years
Envotech Energy provides operation and maintenance (O&M) for rooftop and ground-mounted solar plants in Kolkata, Howrah and across West Bengal, for plants we have built and for existing plants installed by others. Our focus is simple: keep generation close to design, catch faults early and protect the asset over its full operating life.

Preventive maintenance
Scheduled inspections stop small issues from becoming lost generation or safety risks.

- Inverter, ACDB and DCDB checks
- Earthing, lightning protection and cable checks
- Mounting structure and fastener inspection
Module cleaning, including robotic cleaning
Dust, soot and bird droppings can cut generation noticeably, especially in industrial areas. We set a cleaning schedule based on your site and offer robotic panel cleaning for larger plants, which cleans consistently while using little or no water.
Performance monitoring and reporting
We track generation against expected output and flag underperformance early, whether it comes from soiling, a failed string, inverter faults or shading from new construction, so corrective action is taken before it costs you savings.
Corrective maintenance and plant health checks
When something fails, we diagnose and repair it quickly. For existing plants, we start with a health check that benchmarks current performance and lists the work needed to restore it.
Frequently asked questions
Does Envotech Energy maintain solar plants installed by other companies?
Yes. Envotech Energy provides O&M for existing solar plants in Kolkata, Howrah and West Bengal regardless of the original installer, starting with a plant health check and performance benchmark.
What does a solar O&M contract include?
A typical solar O&M contract from Envotech Energy includes preventive maintenance, scheduled module cleaning (manual or robotic), inverter and electrical checks, remote performance monitoring, generation reporting and corrective maintenance.
How do I know if my solar plant is underperforming?
Compare actual generation with the expected generation for your plant's capacity and location; in West Bengal a healthy plant generally produces around 3.3 to 3.8 units per kilowatt per day averaged over the year. A sustained shortfall usually points to soiling, inverter or string faults, or new shading, which an O&M health check will identify.
